Singwe Lodge

Singwe is a gorgeous lodge privately situated along the beautiful Mlawula River. It has four double stone clad rooms with en-suite bathrooms, showers and air-conditioning. Two of the rooms have a beautiful outdoor shower just off the bathroom and also have their own deck, leading off the bedrooms that overlook the river. A perfect place to sit with an early morning cup of tea and look for the uncommon African Finfoot or watch as a Giant Kingfisher dives for his breakfast.
Singwe is the only lodge at Mbuluzi with a TV and full DSTV package.

The outdoor deck at Singwe is a prominent feature and the deck’s pool is a perfect spot for sundowners. With several large shade-umbrellas, it is easy to pass hours with a pair of binoculars aimed at the water flowing below.

The main lodge feels like a home away from home, separated from the bedrooms by well lit pathways at night, it has tasteful décor and a friendly atmosphere. There is air conditioning and a television, and everything a visitor could need for self-catering as there are multiple fridges, a stove, microwave, gas skottle braai, etc. There is an outdoor braai/barbeque area, fully stacked with firewood, and guests will enjoy the lodge and its wonderful surroundings.

Visitors access Singwe via the Reserve’s three low-level river crossings, or via a beautiful mountain pass … don’t be surprised if you decide to stay an extra night!
