All lodges at Mbuluzi Game Reserve are fully equipped for self catering.

The nearest supermarket is in Simunye which is a 10 minute drive from the gate.  There is a veru well stocked Boxer Supermarket including a butchery and baker in store.

The Mananga border is a 25 minute drive from Mbuluzi.

Bikes are available to hire from Reception.  Both kids and adult bikes are available.

The Simunye Club is 10 minutes from the main gate.  It has a great restaurant with a huge menu to suit all tastes.  It also has a great range of children's food.

Our Check in time is between 2pm and 6pm.

Late arrivals can be arranged by prior approval but there will be a late arrival charge.

We currently have eleven lodges available to book for self catering stays at Mbuluzi.

Mbuluzi is home to giraffe, nyala, impala, warthog, zebra, and many other species of game.  There are no elephant or lion in the Reserve so it is very sfae place to walk or cycle.

Mbuluzi does not offer game drives although you can self drive using our well laid out roads using the map you wil be given on arrival.

No.  A normal saloon car  is all you need to access every lodge.

Mbuluzi accepts all major credit cards except American Express.

Yes a nominal gate fee is charged per visit

Hlane Game Resere is a 20 minute drive from Mbuluzi Reception.

No. Mbuluzi does not have a restauranbt on site, however Simunye Club (a 10 minute drive from reception) has a great restaurant.
