Nkhankanka Lodge
Nkhankanka (Crested Guinea Fowl in siSwati) is a charming lodge, privately situated along the peaceful Mlawula River and surrounded by magnificent, hundreds of years old Leadwood trees. A serene place for family and friends to enjoy the tranquility of the bush at Mbuluzi Game Reserve.
Nkhankanka Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation for up to eight guests in four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms in the main house (ideal for families with children) and two spacious bedrooms few meters away over your private bridge, each with its own river or bush view and sliding doors to enjoy the peace and beauty of the bush directly from the privacy of your room.
The lodge is fully equipped for self-catering with a main living area including kitchen, a lounge with cozy sofas and uncapped, fast FREE Starlink WiFi.
Starlink WiFi is available in and around the main lodge - including the lounge / kitchen, bedrooms in main house, on the veranda, around the fire place, in the pool area and on the deck.
The kitchen offers everything you need - a stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, gas skottle braai, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, etc.
From the large thatched veranda leading off the living area, visiting Nkhankankas, Nyalas or Bushbuck can frequently been seen and it’s the perfect spot to watch our nesting Crowned Eagles pair with their juvenile.
The deck, made from eco-friendly 100% recycled plastic, overlooking the river invites not only ambitious birders to spot African Finfoots, Pink-Throated Twinspots and other abundant birdlife.
A private pool and an outdoor fire place with braai / BBQ complete the list of amenities offered to make Nkhankanka Lodge feel like home away from home.
